This web page has grown out of my interest in my JENNINGS family name. To date I've traced my direct family line back to the 1700's in the County of Kent, England. In doing this I've uncovered much about my ancestors, their lives, occupations and the places they lived.
From the village of Biddenden around 1635, the trail leads to nearby High Halden (and possibly via Little Chart) before returning to Biddenden and Cranbrook and on towards London (Deptford, previously in Kent) in the latter half of the nineteenth century.

A lot more information has been gathered and researched since beginning this web site ...the plan now is to start upgrading the site to include this new information along with photos of original documents where ever possible. Please watch this space....
